Free Services for Teens, Pre-Teens, and Young Adults in Portland Divorce Mediation

Free Two-Hour Session for Teens and Pre-Teens: The Only Mediator in Portland Metro Area Who Offers It

Picture
I provide no-cost services to children (age 12-22) of my divorce mediation clients who are engaged in a full divorce mediation process.

Because I am not specifically a therapist and because I have a casual office emphasizing comfort and minimizing jargon, kids easily open up and share their concerns and questions.

After kids meet with me, many parents and kids find themselves surprised that the kids spoke so long and openly. It is common for kids to want to visit with me more than once, which I enjoy and encourage.  Many of the kids who first met me while they were teenagers are now in their 20s and 30s.  Many of them continue to keep in touch with me and visit me in person.

Further, if your child is 18 to 20 years of age and is a student, I will need to speak to your child to explain how the divorce process involves adult children and a particular form that needs to be signed as part of the divorce process.

No mediation client has ever been billed by me for the time I spend helping kids, teens, and college students, and no mediation client ever will.
